  • 4 leeks, cut into cm long pieces
  • 40 g clarified butter or mararine
  • 1 medium onion (s), diced
  • 125 ml water
  • salt
  • Nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 3 tablespoon tomato paste, -fold concentrated
  • 2 m. Gherkin (s), cut into fine strips

Instructions

  1. Heat the clarified butter or margarine in a saucepan, add the leeks and onions and let them turn golden brown while stirring. Pour in the water and season with salt and nutmeg. Add the tomato paste and pickles, mix, cover and sauté over a low heat for 20 minutes and season again.
