Ingredients

  • 400 g pork schnitzel
  • 3 peppers, colored
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • 1 glass ajvar
  • 50 ml heavy cream, low-fat for cooking
  • some lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • Flour
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g ribbon noodles

Instructions

  1. Cut the schnitzel into strips. Turn in flour and fry in a medium saucepan. Dice the onion and add. When the onions are translucent, remove the meat and onions and set aside.
  2. Dice the peppers and fry them in the same saucepan. Chop the garlic clove and add. Add all of the ajvar, rinse the glass with a little warm water and add this too. Let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes. Add the meat and onions again, stir in two tablespoons of cream and a little lemon juice and let everything sit on a low flame for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook the ribbon noodles al dente and serve with the shredded meat.
