Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g mararine
  • 180 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 5 medium egg (s)
  • 1 bag / s aroma, (lemon-Citro-Baking) or ab. Lemon peel
  • 50 g almond (s), peeled, round
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 170 ml vermouth, (Martini Bianco)

For the cast:

  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 2 tablespoon vermouth, (Martini Bianco)
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Mix butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in each egg individually for about half a minute. Mix in flour, almonds, lemon flavor and martini alternately. Fill into a greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for approx. 45 minutes (chopsticks test).
  2. Let cool and fall out of the mold.
  3. Make a glaze from powdered sugar, martini and lemon juice and cover the cake with it.
