Ingredients
- 6 cl gin
- 2 cl Noilly Prat (very dry vermouth)
- 1 piece (s) lemon peel
- Ice cubes

- Fill the cocktail bowl with ice and set aside.
- Pour ice into a mixing glass or the cup part of the shaker and add the gin and Noilly Prat. Stir for 30 seconds.
- Tip the ice away from the cocktail bowl and spray off the lemon peel by turning it over the cocktail bowl (technical jargon, they really call it that), rub the edge of the glass with the bowl and then put the lemon peel into the glass.
- Strain the martini from the mixing glass into the cocktail bowl and serve ice-cold.
