Salad with Apple, Cheese and Nuts

This dessert salad with apple, cheese and nuts is perfect as a light snack. A mixture of lettuce leaves, nuts covered with a caramel crust, a fragrant dressing with the addition of honey, orange peel and dried cranberries – you want to taste this magnificence as soon as possible.

Ingredients

For refueling:

Olive oil – 50 ml
Apple cider vinegar – 1 teaspoon
Dried cranberries – 1 tbsp
Orange zest – 1 teaspoon
Honey – 1 tbsp
Salt (optional) – to taste
Ground black pepper (optional) – to taste

Directions

We prepare products according to the list.
Preparing the dressing. We send olive oil, liquid honey, orange zest, dried cranberries (or other dried fruits) and apple cider vinegar to the blender bowl. Apple cider vinegar can be substituted with other fruit vinegar or lemon juice as needed. Add salt and pepper if desired. Use a blender to interrupt the contents of the bowl until smooth.
Melt the butter in a frying pan.
We spread the nuts.
Sprinkle the nuts with powdered sugar.
Sometimes shake the pan and let the nuts caramelize. Cook the nuts for 2-3 minutes.
We transfer the kernels to paper and let them cool.
Cut the sweet and sour apple into thin slices and sprinkle with lemon juice so that they do not darken.
Cut the cheese into small triangles. It will be convenient if you first cut it into squares and then divide it diagonally.
Lay out the salad mix on a plate. Add apples and cheese.
Sprinkle the salad with nuts and pour over the fragrant dressing. Serve this salad right after cooking.
