Carrot Salad with Cheese, Nuts and Garlic

Simple, bright and easy to prepare salad with fresh carrots, nuts and hard cheese. Such a salad can be a side dish for a meat dish or an independent snack that can be prepared and served in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients
- Carrots – 350 g
- Hard cheese – 200 g
- Walnuts – 70 g
- Garlic – 1-2 cloves
- Mayonnaise – 120-150 g (to taste)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley – for garnish
Directions
- Prepare all the ingredients you need.
- Fry the nuts over low heat in a dry frying pan for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown and aromatic.
- Peel the carrots and garlic. Grate carrots and cheese on a coarse grater. Coarsely chop the toasted nuts. Chop a clove of garlic
- Place cheese, carrots, nuts, and garlic in a salad bowl. Add mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.
- Try the salad and add some salt to taste. If desired, you can add 1 more small minced garlic clove.
- Place the salad in a heap on a serving plate. Garnish with a parsley leaf if desired. Finely chop the rest of the parsley and sprinkle it over the salad.
- Carrot salad with cheese, nuts and garlic is ready.
