Ingredients

  • 2 glasses black salsify (s)
  • 4 sausages (fried sausages), fresh coarse
  • 1 pack sauce powder for light sauce
  • 100 ml sweet cream
  • nutmeg
  • Vegetable broth, grained
  • Sauce thickener, lighter

Instructions

  1. Put the liquid from the salsify in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Squeeze the dumplings out of the sausage, add them directly to the black salsify stock and cook for about 5 minutes.
  2. When the dumplings are done, add the light sauce powder, stirring constantly. Pour in the sweet cream and, if the sauce is not thick enough, thicken with a sauce thickener. Season to taste with nutmeg and granulated broth. Add the black salsify and bring to the boil again.
  3. Boiled potatoes taste good with it.
