Ingredients

  • 250 g carrot (s)
  • 2 onions)
  • 250 g black salsify (s)
  • 2 bell pepper (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon curry
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ clove (s)
  • 6 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 6 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar, (wine vinegar)
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Peel the carrots, onions and salsify. Finely dice the onions. Cut the carrots and salsify into strips about 0.5 cm thick. Halve the peppers, remove the seeds, wash and finely dice. Peel and chop the garlic.
  2. Mix the curry, cinnamon, cloves, sesame oil and garlic together, season with salt and pepper. Mix the vegetables with the marinade and let it steep for 1 hour.
  3. Remove the vegetables from the marinade, drain them well and fry them vigorously in a wok or in a pan for 2-3 minutes. Mix in the marinade, soy sauce, wine vinegar and honey and bring everything to a boil. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
  4. Rice tastes good with it.
