Sandwich Snack Cake

We bring to your attention an unusual recipe for a snack cake. A sandwich cake with salmon, tuna and two types of cream cheese will certainly diversify the festive table, because the “cake” will be not only delicious, but also beautiful.


  • Toast bread – 16 pieces
  • Lightly salted salmon – 200 g
  • Canned tuna, in its own juice – 150 g
  • Classic cream cheese – 200 g
  • Cream cheese with chili pepper – 200 g
  • Fresh cucumbers – 2 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 6 tbsp
  • Bulgarian red pepper – 1 pc. (100 g)
  • Cherry tomatoes – 1-2 pcs.
  • Fresh dill – 1 bunch
  • Fresh parsley – 1 sprig
  • Pitted olives – 6-7 pcs.


  1. We prepare products for a sandwich snack cake with fish and cheese.
  2. Grind 3-4 branches of dill. Add chopped dill to classic cream cheese.
  3. Mix the cheese thoroughly with the dill.
  4. Cut off the crusts from each slice of toast bread and shape the bread into any shape, square or rectangle.
  5. We spread the bread on a flat plate or wooden dish, also in any shape, square or rectangle. Lubricate the bread on top with a thin layer of mayonnaise.
  6. Cooking tuna filling. Open the can of tuna, drain all the liquid and knead the tuna with a fork. Add 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, pepper to taste.
  7. Spread the tuna filling on the bread and distribute it evenly over the entire surface.
  8. Put the next layer of bread on the tuna filling.
  9. Spread the bread with cream cheese and chili.
  10. Cut the cucumber into slices and spread over the cream cheese. We make a mesh of mayonnaise. Next, put slices of bread and on them – cream cheese with dill.
  11. Spread the cream cheese with dill thoroughly and evenly over the surface of the bread.
  12. Cut the salmon into small strips. We leave a few pieces of fish aside for decoration.
  13. Put salmon stripes on cream cheese with dill.
  14. Put the last slices of bread on the fish and grease the top and sides of the sandwich cake with mayonnaise.
  15. Preparing decorations for a festive snack. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise and cut into thin half rings. Chop the bell pepper finely enough. Chop the dill and cut the olives into slices. Cut the cherry tomato in half.
  16. We spread the halves of the cucumbers below, along the peri of the cake, and on top along the edges.
  17. Put half of the tomato in the middle. Sprinkle the sides and top of the cake with chunks of pepper. Also sprinkle the sides of the cake with chopped dill and slices of olives. We twist the pieces of fish, put them on top and put parsley leaves in the middle of the rolled pieces of fish.
  18. We carefully wipe the plate or wooden form and send the sandwich snack cake with fish and cheese to the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
  19. Snack cake with salmon, tuna, cream cheese and vegetables is ready.
