Tuna and Cheese Snack Cake

Festive New Year’s snack with tuna, cheese and eggs! All your guests will love this snack toast cake! Delicious and satisfying!

Cook: 30 mins


  • Toast bread – 12 slices
  • Canned tuna in its own juice – 2 cans
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 200-300 g
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves
  • Boiled eggs – 4 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 8 tbsp

For decoration:

  • Cherry tomatoes – 9 pcs.
  • Olives – 1 pc.


  1. We prepare all the necessary products. Boil eggs in advance, cool and peel.
  2. Cooking fillings, there will be exactly three of them.
    For the first filling, rub the eggs on a coarse grater. Add a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise to the eggs. Mix well.
  3. For the second filling, finely chop the onion and combine it with chopped canned tuna. We also add a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise. We mix.
  4. The third filling is very simple – it’s a well-known Jewish appetizer, that is, cheese with garlic and mayonnaise. Rub the cheese on a fine grater and mix with garlic squeezed through a press and the remaining mayonnaise.
  5. Now we form a snack cake. You need to collect it on a flat surface. I collected on a cutting board.
    So, for toast bread, you need to trim the edges or completely cut them off if they are dry or hard.
  6. Layout the first layer of four slices of bread. We coat the bread with egg filling.
  7. Layout four more slices of bread on top, on top of which the tuna and onion filling will be located. (If someone doesn’t like fresh onions, you can cook without them.)
  8. Close the filling with the remaining toast bread. We coat the whole snack cake made of bread with cheese filling.
  9. Snack cake with tuna, cheese and eggs is ready. We decorate the appetizer at our discretion. In order not to bother too much, I decorated with halves of cherry tomatoes and olives, having decorated the snack cake in the form of New Year’s clock.
  10. The toast cake should be soaked and ready to be served.
