Ingredients

  • 1 small Tin sauerkraut, (for 3 people)
  • 400 g hash browns, thawed and chopped up
  • 3 slices smoked pork neck joint (approx. 0.5 - 1 cm thick)
  • 1 cup cream, (a little more if you like)
  • 100 g cheese, rated

Instructions

  1. Thaw the hash browns and then chop them up. Mix with cream and cheese.
  2. Spread the sauerkraut on the bottom of a baking dish. Place Kassel slices on top. Cover with the Rösti, cream and cheese mixture and bake for approx. 45 minutes at 200 ° C (convection: 175 ° C). Baking time is only an approximate indication and should be adjusted individually depending on the oven.
