Sausages with Sour Cream Sauce

Sausages in sour cream sauce with horseradish are a great addition to any side dish or a savory snack.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Sausages (mini) – 8 pcs.
  • or long sausages – 4 pcs.
  • Sour cream – 50 g (2 tablespoons)
  • Wheat flour – 15 g (1 tablespoon)
  • Horseradish grated (I have with beets) – 1-2 tbsp (to taste)
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Freshly ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – 100 ml

Directions

  1. Prepare the food you need.
  2. Clean the sausages from the packaging material. If using long sausages, cut each into 3 pieces.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add flour to it. Fry over medium heat for a minute, stirring constantly, until brown.
  4. Add sour cream to the skillet.
  5. Pour in water and mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps. Cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
  6. Add horseradish, freshly ground pepper and salt to the resulting mixture.
  7. Stir the sauce thoroughly. Place sausages in this sauce.
  8. Cook the sausages in sour cream sauce with horseradish for 2 minutes.
  9. Serve sausages in sour cream sauce as an addition to any side dish or as an appetizer (hot or cold).
