The easiest tuna steak recipe. In my opinion, this steak is one of the most interesting fish steaks due to the fact that tuna is a fish, the steak of which resembles chicken fillet in consistency. If you’ve never tried, then you should definitely do it! And according to this recipe, you will not have any problems with cooking tuna!
Ingredients
Tuna steak – 1 pc.
Soy sauce – 4 tablespoons spoons
Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
Sesame – 30 g
Arugula (for serving) – 30 g
Directions
We take the previously thawed steak and remove it from the vacuum package. Remove excess moisture from the tuna with a paper towel.
Making the simplest tuna marinade. To do this, mix vegetable oil and soy sauce in a 1: 2 ratio. I used 2 tablespoon. tablespoons of vegetable oil and 4 tbsp of soy sauce. Mix the marinade.
Dip the tuna steak into the marinade. We make it so that it covers the entire surface of the steak. Let the steak marinate for 1 minute. After that, pour the marinade over the steak using a teaspoon and leave for another 1 minute. The fish readily absorbs soy sauce and changes its color before our eyes, so marinating it for 2 minutes is enough.
Pour some sesame seeds into a clean plate. Breaded steak covered with the marinade in sesame seeds. We do it slowly, from all sides.
Fry the tuna steak in a pan. I use a grill pan, but it doesn’t really matter. It is important to fry it for 1 minute on each side over a slightly above medium heat so that at the end of cooking, the steak in the middle is still raw. Then it will be as tasty as possible! When preparing tuna steak, the main thing to remember is the rule: 2 minutes of marinating, 2 minutes of cooking. What could be easier! Serve the tuna steak on the table, garnish the plate with arugula. Enjoy your meal!
