The classic hodgepodge is made from meat and various smoked meats, but today we want to offer you a simple, but at the same time very tasty and aromatic hodgepodge with sausage.
Ingredients
Boiled sausage – 150 g
Hunting sausages – 4 pcs.
Red onion – 1 pc.
Carrots – 1 pc.
Potatoes – 6 pcs.
Pickled cucumbers – 3 pcs.
Lemon – 3 slices
Tomato paste – 2 tbsp
Olives – 100 g
Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
Salt
Ground black pepper
Bay leaf
Water – 3.5 l
Directions
We prepare products for a hodgepodge with sausage.
Boil water. Put peeled potatoes and cut into small pieces into boiling water.
Peel the carrots and rub them on a coarse grater. Cut the red onion into half rings. Rub the pickled cucumbers on a coarse grater.
Cut the sausages into small pieces, and the sausage into thin strips.
First fry the onion in a pan with vegetable oil for 3 minutes, then add the carrots and cook the vegetables until soft.
Add cucumbers and tomato paste to the pan with vegetables. We mix. Cook vegetables for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Pour vegetables into a pot for potatoes.
Salt and pepper to taste and add the bay leaf.
When the potatoes become soft in the hodgepodge, add the sausages and sausage.
The last to add to the hodgepodge are olives and lemon. Turn off the stove and let the hodgepodge brew for a couple of minutes.
Serve a hodgepodge with hot sausage. You can serve sour cream with the soup or sprinkle with herbs.
