Ingredients

  • 1 liter rice - milk or other
  • some vanilla pulp, or grated tonka bean
  • some lemon peel, about 1/2 organic lemon, grated
  • 100 g semolina, (spelled semolina)
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 egg whites
  • 3 tablespoon raw cane sugar

Instructions

  1. Bring the rice milk with the spices to the boil and stir in the semolina. Let the semolina swell on the lowest setting for 10 minutes. Stir in between and let cool down a little. Stir in the egg yolks. Beat the egg whites with the sugar into egg whites and fold in carefully.
  2. Compote, fruit puree or elderberry sauce tastes good with it.
