Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks

  • 250 g flour, smooth
  • 140 g butter, cold
  • 300 g onion (s)
  • 150 g ham, pressed
  • 150 g breakfast bacon
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 125 ml milk
  • 125 ml whipped cream, (cream)
  • 0.5 ½ bunch parsley
  • 150 g cheese, rated Gouda cheese

Instructions

  1. For the dough, mix the yolks with salt and water. Crumble the flour with the butter and knead with the yolk mixture. Wrap in cling film and let rest in a cool place for approx. 1 hour.
  2. For the filling, peel and halve the onion and then cut into thin slices. Briefly boil over in salted water, then drain.
  3. Cut the ham and bacon into pieces approx. 1 cm in size, fry in oil and drain in a sieve.
  4. Then preheat the oven to 200 ° C and roll out the dough about the back of a knife on a floured surface. Line a tart dish with a diameter of 24 cm with it, spread the onion, ham and bacon on top.
  5. Mix the eggs with milk, cream parsley and half of the cheese, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg and pour over the filling.
  6. Sprinkle the cake with the rest of the cheese and bake on the middle rack for about 30 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 170 ° and bake for another 15 minutes.
