Spicy Peanut Sauce

Instructions

  1. Put the peanut butter in a small saucepan and heat until it becomes liquid. Add the milk to the liquid peanut butter. It is normal that the sauce briefly acquires a very tough consistency and flakes first. Stir with a small whisk until it begins to simmer slightly and the milk and peanut butter make a smooth sauce. Now stir in the honey, soy sauce and sambal oelek with the whisk as well. If you like, add ground chilli to taste.
  2. The sauce tastes very good with fried chicken with rice, or, as is popular in Holland, with French fries.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
