Ingredients

  • 500 g spinach, fresh
  • 1 spring onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • sesame
  • Chili powder, Korean

Instructions

  1. Wash the spinach well. Bring the water to a boil in a large saucepan, add the spinach and lightly blanch for about 30 seconds until it turns light green. Then immediately place in a bowl of cold water and rinse with cold water. Wring out excess water well. Roughly chop the spinach. Finely chop the garlic clove. Cut the spring onion into fine rings. Mix the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, garlic and 2/3 of the spring onions together. Mix the dressing with the spinach, preferably with your hands, as this will spread it better. Add a splash of sesame oil and add more soy sauce, vinegar and sugar to taste. Fill into small bowls and serve sprinkled with sesame seeds, the remaining spring onions and a pinch of chili powder.
