Ingredients

  • some butter for frying
  • 4 sausages, (veal), cut into approx. 2 cm thick slices
  • 2 rolls, cut into medium-sized cubes
  • 1 tablespoon mustard, (spicy)
  • 2 tablespoon syrup, hibiscus syrup, (alternatively elderberry syrup)
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar, (orange vinegar)
  • 6 tablespoon oil, (walnut oil)
  • 1 onion (s), finely chopped
  • a bit salt
  • some black pepper
  • 250 g lamb`s lettuce

Instructions

  1. Fry the sausage rolls in a little clarified butter until they have turned a nice color, remove them.
  2. Fry the bread cubes in a little clarified butter over medium heat until they are nice and crispy, take out.
  3. Mix the mustard, syrup, vinegar, oil and onion well, should be slightly creamy, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Divide the salad on 4 plates.
  5. Mix the sausage and bread briefly with the sauce and add to the salad (maybe add a few croutons as a decoration).
