Stacks of Minced Chicken with Potatoes,Fried Onions and Cheese

Stacks of minced chicken with potatoes, fried onions, and cheese are very satisfying and delicious. Cooking technology is quite simple and does not take much time. Stacks can be prepared for homemade lunch, dinner, or served hot for a festive table. All ingredients in the recipe are in perfect harmony and complement each other.

Ingredients

  • Minced chicken (or any meat) – 450 g
  • Potatoes – 425 g
  • Hard cheese – 60 g
  • Onions – 250 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves (15 g)
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise – 50 g
  • Bread crumbs – 40 g
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients. Minced meat can be any, at your discretion. It is best to make minced meat at home from the desired type of meat. I used minced chicken.
  2. Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes. Set aside about 1/5 of the onion for the minced meat.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon in a skillet. a spoonful of vegetable oil. Add the onion and sauté over medium heat until soft, about 8 minutes.
  4.  Peel the garlic and chop finely. Add the set-aside onion and chopped garlic to the minced meat. Mix well.
  5. Add breadcrumbs, beat in an egg, add salt and black pepper. Stir.
  6. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Line a baking dish with foil or parchment. Brush with vegetable oil. Divide the minced meat into 3 parts. Form a bun out of each. Place in a mold at a distance from each other.
  7. Make grooves in the meatballs so that the blanks look like baskets.
  8. Place the fried onions in the center of each basket blank.
  9. Peel and rinse potatoes. Grate it on a coarse grater. I squeezed out the juice a little, as the grated potatoes were very juicy. Spread the potato chips over the meat “baskets” on top of the onions. Salt and pepper a little and season with mayonnaise.
  10. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater. Spread the cheese on top of the potato layer. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Roasting time depends on the power of your oven.
  11. Stacks of minced meat with onions, potatoes, and cheese are ready. Serve directly to the table.
