Sugar Cookies with Icing

A dream since childhood – to cook beautiful and delicious sugar cookies in the glaze! I did it, and you can do it!
Ingredients
For the dough:
- Soft butter – 100 g
- Flour – 200 g
- Sugar – 50 g
- Egg – 1 pc.
- Yolk – 1 pc.
- Vanilla extract – 2-3 drops
For icing:
- Protein – 1 pc.
- Powdered sugar – 150-200 g
- Lemon juice – a few drops
Instructions
- Beat butter (soft) with sugar and a few drops of vanilla extract. Beat well and, without stopping, add the egg and yolk. Add flour and knead into a soft cookie dough. We put the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Roll out the finished dough into a thin layer (4 mm thick). It is best to roll it out (so as not to stick) between films or parchment.
- We will use the cookie cutters. Today we will have a coffee theme! We bake sugar cookies in a preheated oven for 15 minutes, temperature – 200 degrees.
- We will make the icing for decoration by mixing egg white and icing sugar. And add a few drops of lemon juice.
- Apply a contour to the cooled cookies using a pastry bag. When the contour dries up, fill all the free space with a glaze and level it with a special needle (or toothpick).
- You can decorate as you like, as your fantasy allows you! These handmade cookies will always be delicious!
