Tartlets with Chocolate

Perhaps the perfect festive dessert – tartlets will attract the attention of both adults and especially children with their spectacular appearance. And the taste of these simple baked goods will not disappoint!

Ingredients

  • For tartlets:
  • Butter – 200 g
  • Yolks – 3 pcs.
  • Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Flour – 3 cups
  • Salt (optional) – on the tip of a knife
  • Soda (optional) – 1/4 teaspoon
  • (extinguish soda 1 / 4-1 / 2 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice)
  • Vanilla (vanilla sugar) – to taste
  • For the cream:
  • Cream (20-30%) – 100 g
  • Dark chocolate – 200 g
  • Besides:
  • Rice (weight for baking tartlets)
  • Nuts (for decoration)

Directions

  1. Add sugar and vanilla to the yolks.
  2. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add pieces of butter to the sifted flour.
  4. Grind flour and butter into crumbs.
  5. Add yolks with sugar to the flour mixture.
  6. We knead the dough.
  7. Wrap the finished dough in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  8. Cover the table with parchment paper and lightly sprinkle it with flour. Divide the dough in half.
  9. Cover half of the dough with parchment and roll it into a layer, about 3-4 mm thick.
  10. Cut out the future tartlet baskets with molds.
  11. Then we put the cut out dough into molds and, pressing the dough to the walls, we form a basket.
  12. Put parchment paper on the dough, pour rice on it (so that the dough does not rise during baking). We bake the tartlets in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15-17 minutes, until golden brown.
  13. To prepare the cream, pour the cream into a saucepan with a thick bottom.
  14. Heating the cream over low heat, add the pieces of chocolate. Stir, melt the chocolate.
  15. Whisk lightly. We release the baked tartlets from the load. Fill the tartlets with chocolate cream. Decorate with nuts.
