Thai Chicken with Peanut Butter

Recipe for making Thai chicken marinated with soy sauce, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, curry powder and peanut butter.

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Chicken – 450 Grams
  • Honey – 2 Art. spoons
  • Lime juice – 1
  • Garlic – 1 Teaspoon
  • Peanut butter – 1
  • Curry Powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds – – To taste

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken into medium sized cubes. Chop the garlic. Combine soy sauce, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, peanut butter, and curry powder in a large bowl.
  2. Put chicken pieces in a bowl with marinade, cover and marinate for 2-3 hours.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place in the skillet. Fry the chicken in the sauce over high heat for 7-8 minutes, until the meat is done. Reduce heat to medium and add pre-cooked vegetables if desired. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve immediately. If you want to thicken the sauce, mix 1 teaspoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water. When the chicken is cooking, reduce heat to medium and add corn mixture.
