Ingredients

  • 0.5 ½ bell pepper (s), red, pitted, chopped
  • 3 clove (s) garlic, pressed
  • 2 chilli pepper (s), red Thai
  • 10 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 10 tablespoon sugar
  • 250 ml water

Instructions

  1. Chop the peppers and chilli peppers in the food processor and then fill a small saucepan with the pressed garlic.
  2. Add the water, vinegar and sugar and bring to the boil. Simmer everything over medium heat without a lid for about 25-30 minutes, or until a slightly thick sauce has formed, if necessary season again with vinegar - done.
  3. Goes wonderfully with Thai spring rolls or raw vegetables.
  4. This sauce can be refined with diced cucumber pieces and crushed peanuts.
  5. PS: If you want to carefully approach the heat, you should first remove the seeds from the chili peppers.
