Ingredients

  • 2 egg (s), separated
  • 1 glass milk
  • 0.5 ½ glass warm water
  • 200 g yourt
  • 0.5 ½ glass oil (sunflower oil)
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 yeast
  • 600 grams flour
  • 500 g minced meat (beef)
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Sesame seeds to refine

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl. Add the sugar with the warm water and dissolve. Then add the yeast and also dissolve. Stir everything. Stir in the milk, oil, egg white, yogurt and salt. Then add the flour and knead the dough until a soft dough is formed (tip: must feel as soft as the earlobes). Now take small pieces of the greetings of a walnut from the dough and roll them into balls. These balls should rise for about 15 minutes.
  2. During this time, peel and dice the onion. Fry in a hot pan. Then add the minced meat and season to taste.
  3. After waiting 15 minutes, roll up the dough balls so that they are long but not too wide (like a rectangle). Place 1 tablespoon each of the minced meat on top and roll up like croissants. Place the pieces on a greased baking sheet. Whisk the egg yolks and spread them on top. Finally refine with sesame seeds.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Tip: Alternatively, you can make a cheese filling and fill the dough with it. To do this, chop 300 g of sheep`s cheese and chop two stalks of parsley and fill the pockets with it.
