Ingredients

  • 250 g pasta (risoni)
  • 200 g minced meat, beef or lamb
  • 3 tablespoon oil (sunflower)
  • 1 can tomato (s), pureed, or fresh tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vegetable stock (Vegeta)
  • 750 ml water, possibly a little more
  • salt
  • basil
  • oregano
  • parsley
  • 1 lemon (s)

Instructions

  1. Fry the minced meat in a saucepan with sunflower oil until it starts to sizzle. Add tomato paste and tomatoes. Add the vegeta and water, bring to the boil and add the risoni noodles (Arpa-Sehriye). Add about 1 teaspoon of salt and simmer for about 20 minutes over medium heat, then add parsley, a pinch of basil and oregano, simmer briefly, then reduce the heat. If the consistency is not soup-like, add a little more water depending on your taste, as the risoni absorb the water quickly.
  2. Serve hot and drizzle lemon juice on top.
