Ingredients
- 2 bottles white wine, dry to semi-dry
- 150 ml sugar
- 100 ml orange juice
- 30 g iner in slices
- 2 tablespoon clove (s)
- 4 cinnamon stick (s)
- 2 star anise
- 2 tablespoon cardamom seeds
- 100 ml vodka

- There are a variety of recipes for Swedish Glögg, but this one is generally sweeter, spicier and stronger than German mulled wine. Best enjoyed after clearing the snow or after a round of cross-country skiing
- Mix everything except the vodka in a saucepan. Heat and stir for about 5 minutes, do not bring to a boil.
- Leave to stand with the lid on for at least 48 hours.
- Strain ginger, cloves, cinnamon, star anise and cardamom and add vodka to the mulled wine. The Glögg can now be bottled.
- Keep cold until serving.
- Reheat and stir in a saucepan again before serving.
- Put a few raisins and whole almonds in small cups and pour the warm Glögg over them. The raisins and almonds can be eaten with a teaspoon while drinking.
