Ingredients

  • g 1,500 white cabbae
  • 2 onion (s), diced
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 0.5 ½ cup sugar
  • 0.5 ½ cup oil, (neutral)
  • 1 cup vinegar

Instructions

  1. Chop the white cabbage and place in a large bowl.
  2. Put the remaining ingredients in a saucepan and cook for a few minutes. Pour over the cabbage while still hot, stir and cover with a plate. Let it steep for 24 hours.
  3. The salad is great to prepare and we`ve found the longer it steeps, the better it gets!
