Almond-Vanilla Crescent Cookies

New Year’s cookies for winter tea will create the anticipation of your favorite holiday! Creamy, vanilla, almond, crumbly, very, very tasty … You can talk a lot, but it is better to try!

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour / Flour – 250 g
  • Sugar – 100 g
  • Butter – 125 g
  • Extract (almond extract-0.5 teaspoon and vanilla extract-0.5 teaspoon) – 1 teaspoon.

Directions

  1. The butter must be removed from the refrigerator in advance so that it is soft. Beat butter with sugar until light airy mass. In the process, you need to add almond and vanilla extract. If there are none, then you can simply add vanilla, and to have the aroma of almonds, then chop the nuts. Sift flour and knead a soft and pliable dough with your hands. Divide the dough into pieces, roll them into balls about 3 cm in diameter, and then sculpt crescents like from plasticine.
  2. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper or, like me, on a non-stick dish. From this amount of dough, I got 15 cookies. If you are guided by size according to my shape, then it’s D-24 cm. We place cookies at a distance from each other. It will grow a little during the baking process. We put the form in a preheated oven up to 180 ° C for 15-20 minutes. Be guided by your oven. It took me 15 minutes for the crust to turn light golden. I baked cookies 2 times. Let the liver cool down.
  3. To serve, I’ll sprinkle the cookies with powdered sugar, as if with snow. You can melt chocolate in the microwave for 55 seconds at 800 power and dip one edge of the cookie into it and let it freeze. You can eat cookies by dipping them in chocolate, bite off immediately.
