Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry
  • 2 small apples
  • 35 g suar
  • 2 tablespoon quark
  • 2 tablespoon applesauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon
  • 50 g raisins
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Wash the apples, quarter them, and remove the cores. Cut into small cubes and place in a bowl.
  2. Add the sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, applesauce, quark, and raisins. Mix well and season to taste.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) with top and bottom heat.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Place the puff pastry on a lightly floured work surface. If using a rolled sheet, gently unroll it.
  6. Cut the pastry into 10 cm squares.
  7. Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each square. Brush the edges lightly with water.
  8. Fold each square diagonally to form a triangle. Press the edges firmly closed with a fork.
  9. Place the triangles on the prepared baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Cool on a wire rack.
