Apple Pie (Open)

Hello to all lovers of sweet pies! Today I want to tell you how to make a delicious open apple pie. Believe me, you have never tasted better. Let’s start cooking!

Cook: 2 hour

Servings: 4-5

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour – 2 Glasses (for dough)
  • Salt – 1 Teaspoon
  • Butter – 90 Grams
  • Cold water – 5 Art. spoons
  • Egg – 1 Piece
  • Milk – 3 tbsp
  • Sugar (white and brown) – 80 Grams each (filling)
  • Salt – 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Cinnamon – 1 Teaspoon
  • Wheat flour – 3 tbsp
  • Apples – 6-8 Pieces
  • Lemon Juice – 1 Teaspoon

Directions

  1. First, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  2. Sift flour, mix with salt. Cut the softened butter into cubes, add to the flour and grind everything well into a crumb. Gradually add cold water and knead the dough.
  3. Roll the dough into a ball, divide it into two parts. We wrap one in film and send it to the refrigerator for 30 minutes, and roll the second into a thin layer on a surface sprinkled with flour.
  4. Grease the baking dish with butter, put the rolled layer into the mold, forming the sides. We send the dough to the refrigerator.
  5. Roll the second part of the dough into a layer and cut it into strips.
  6. Let’s prepare the filling. Rinse the apples, peel and cut into small cubes, mix with brown and white sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix everything well so that the spices and sugar are evenly distributed over the entire surface.
  7. We take out the form with the dough from the refrigerator, evenly distribute the apple filling, use the strips of dough to form a “grid”. Lubricate the surface of the dough with eggs beaten with milk. Sprinkle with cinnamon and place in the oven. We bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes, then for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
  8. The apple pie is ready!
