Ingredients

  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 200 g suar (powdered or fine-rained suar)
  • 0.5 ½ pack vanilla sugar
  • 6 egg (s), the yolks them
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoon rum
  • 350 g flour, handy
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder (= 2 level teaspoons)
  • 5 egg (s), the albumen it
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • Lemon (s) - zest, grated.
  • 1 kg apricot (s), apricots or other fruit.

Instructions

  1. First stir in the butter at room temperature until frothy, then stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar and the 6 egg yolks individually. Add milk, rum and lemon zest. Finally, briefly stir in the flour sifted with baking powder and the firm egg whites of the 5 (!) Egg whites alternately.
  2. Spread this mixture on a very well buttered and floured baking sheet and cover with halved and pitted apricots (skin side down).
  3. Bake at medium heat for about 35-40 minutes (make a needle test!)
  4. Serve sprinkled with icing sugar!
