Baked Chocolate Mousse

A delicious dessert made from chocolate, butter and eggs, real baked chocolate. The main thing is not to dry it too much, so that the baked chocolate in the center remains tender, viscous-soft.

Ingredients

  • Butter – 200 g
  • Dark chocolate (bitter) – 280 g
  • Sugar (preferably light brown) – 240 g (glass and a quarter) or to taste
  • Eggs- 4 pcs.
  • Salt – 1 pinch
  • Cocoa powder – to taste
  • Powdered sugar – to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Cover the mold (20-25 cm) with parchment with removable sides. Cut the butter into pieces, break the chocolate into pieces. Place butter and chocolate in a heatproof bowl (or small saucepan) and melt in a bain-marie, stirring occasionally. To do this, hold the bowl over mildly boiling water so that the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water. Cool slightly.
  2. Separate the yolks from the whites. While stirring the chocolate mass, add the sugar and yolks one at a time. Whisk the whites with a pinch of salt until fluffy. Stir gently and slowly into the chocolate mass.
  3. Pour the prepared mixture into the prepared dish. Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes. Only the outer crust (edges) should be dense, but not the inner part. Cool the finished baked chocolate completely in the mold. Then use a knife to free the edges and place the dessert on a plate. Sprinkle the baked chocolate with cocoa and powdered sugar.
