Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoon sultanas
  • rum
  • 1 package strudel sheets
  • 1 kg apple (e.g. Boskoop)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 80 g suar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Almond (s), chopped
  • butter
  • 1 cup cream
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Soak the sultanas in rum.
  2. Peel, quarter, core and slice the apples.
  3. Take 1 sheet of strudel dough twice and place these 2 sheets of pastry on 1 tea towel each. Brush the leaves with sour cream, spread the apples, sultanas, cinnamon and almonds on top. Roll up the strudel using the tea towel.
  4. Butter a shape. Put in the strudel, bake at 200 ° C for 20 minutes, then pour the cream into the mug. Bake again for 20 minutes, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  5. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
