Ingredients
- 1 can kidney beans, (400 g)
- 8 tablespoon oatmeal
- 2 carrot (s)
- 1 large onion (s)
- 2 cloves garlic)
- Olive oil, for frying
- Salt and pepper
- some vegetable stock, instant
- possibly parsley
- possibly flour
- possibly spice (s), to taste

- Chop the onions and garlic and grate the carrots. Lightly fry everything in a pan.
- Put the kidney beans in a container and mash them with a fork. There may be a few coarse pieces of beans left over, depending on your taste.
- Add the fried vegetables and season with pepper, salt, a little vegetable stock powder and the other spices and mix with the beans. Add oatmeal to thicken it so that it becomes a little firmer. Optionally, a little flour can also be added to make the whole thing even firmer.
- Bake the dough in oil in portions.
- The ingredients are sufficient for approx. 8-10 burger patties.
- Suggestion: the bean patties can be placed on a burger bun together with salad and other ingredients and a balsamic mustard sauce - and the bean burger is ready.
