Ingredients

  • 1 can beans (green beans), alternatively also fresh
  • 75 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon broth, instant
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • acon (approx. 50 g), smoked, diced
  • 2 tablespoon margarine or butter

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine or butter in a saucepan. Add the flour and stir until the resulting lump of flour has the desired consistency. Deglaze the mixture with milk. Stir vigorously with a whisk until there is a thick sauce. Pour in more milk if necessary. Season the whole thing with broth to taste. Then drain the beans and add them to the sauce. Stir occasionally so that nothing burns. As soon as the beans are hot, serve immediately.
  2. You can put the smoked bacon in it, but you don`t have to. But it gives a better taste. But then it`s best to fry a little beforehand in a pan and then add to the beans.
  3. This goes well with mashed potatoes with fried eggs or smoked pork.
