Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef goulash
  • 2 vegetable onion (s)
  • 1 can chickpeas (240 g)
  • 1 can tomato (s), cut into pieces (400 g)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon spice mix, oriental (Baharat)
  • salt
  • Coriander green

Instructions

  1. Peel the onions and cut lengthways into eighths. Peel and dice the garlic.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan and fry the meat all over. Add the onions and garlic to the meat, fry for 2 minutes and season with salt. Then add tomatoes and season with Baharat. Cover, reduce heat and simmer over low heat for an hour.
  3. Add the rinsed, drained chickpeas to the meat and stew everything for another 15 minutes and sprinkle with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
  4. Serve with rice or couscous.
