Chickpea Waffles

A recipe for those who follow the figure and adhere to a healthy diet. Chickpea waffles can be served with lightly salted salmon, fresh vegetables, low-fat sour cream, or yogurt!

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas – 400 Grams
  • Onions – 1/2 Pieces
  • Garlic – 4 Cloves
  • Olive oil – 2 Tbsp. spoons
  • Salt – 1 Teaspoon
  • Cumin – 1 Teaspoon
  • Ground paprika – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 1 Teaspoon
  • Flour – 2 Art. spoons
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Egg white – 1 Piece

Directions

  1. Use a food processor to puree the chickpeas, onions and garlic. Add protein, flour, baking powder, salt, cumin, paprika and pepper. Stir everything together.
  2. Lubricate the waffle pan with oil.
  3. Put the mixture on a baking dish and bake the waffles until tender. Serve the waffles with garlic sauce.
