Ingredients

  • 500 g flour (tapioca)
  • 0.5 ½ glass milk
  • 0.25 ¼ glass oil
  • 2 egg (s)
  • salt
  • 500 g cheese, coarsely rated Turkish azzy or kars

Instructions

  1. Bring the milk, oil, and salt to a boil. Pour this liquid over the tapioca flour in a bowl and let it cool a little. When the temperature is comfortable, gradually add the cheese (the Turkish cheese is closest to the one we use in Brazil) and the eggs, always kneading the mixture well with your hands. The eggs are added gradually until the bond has formed and the rolls, i.e. small balls, can be formed.
  2. Bake them in a preheated oven at 200 ° C fan oven until they turn golden brown, after about 20-30 minutes.
  3. Tip: we always make two recipes at once and freeze everything. If you put them frozen in the oven, they keep their shape while baking and you always have some ready in the freezer.
  4. Depending on the size of the rolls, the above ingredients are sufficient for approx. 50 pieces.
