Ingredients

  • 4 egg (s)
  • 1 ½ tablespoon butter
  • 4 slices sausage, (extra sausage)
  • 1 handful cheese, Emmentaler (grated)
  • some parmesan, (grated)
  • a bit salt
  • some pepper, (from the mill)

Instructions

  1. Chop the extra sausage and coarsely grate the Emmentaler and Parmesan. Beat the eggs, whisk in a glass and season well with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt the butter in a (if possible coated) pan, then add the eggs and let set for a few minutes over medium heat, but the top of the omelette should still be runny. At this point, spread the sliced extra sausage nicely over the omelette, sprinkle with Emmentaler and Parmesan. Put the lid back on the pan and fry the omelette for a few more minutes (in total, this takes a little less than 10 minutes for an omelette with 4 eggs).
  3. Prepare a plate and carefully slide the omelette out of the pan. If necessary, add a little more seasoning and then fold up the omelette with a spatula. If you want it to look nice too, put any herb leaf on top of the omelette.
  4. A very extensive, but quickly made breakfast. If you haven`t had enough with the omelette, add a slice or two of dark bread to it, which goes very well.
