Ingredients

  • 750 g Brussels sprouts
  • 100 g bacon, cut into strips
  • 30 g butter
  • 100 g cheese (Emmentaler), rated
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 2 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 25 g almond (s), sliced

Instructions

  1. Clean and wash Brussels sprouts. Bring 1 1/2 l water (possibly add a little salt) to the boil, add Brussels sprouts and steam for 5 minutes. Remove and drain. Spread 10 g butter on an ovenproof dish. Pour in Brussels sprouts. Mix in the breakfast bacon. Mix the Emmentaler with the crème fraiche, eggs, a little salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour over the Brussels sprouts mixture, sprinkle with flaked almonds and sprinkle the remaining butter on top. Bake in the middle of the preheated oven at 175 ° for 25 to 30 minutes.
