Ingredients

For the ground:

  • 100 g mararine
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 100 ml water

For the filling:

  • 500 g Brussels sprouts
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 70 g parmesan or Grana Padano
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 handful herbs to taste
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. For the base, work the flour, margarine, cold water, vinegar and 1 teaspoon salt into a dough. Wrap the finished dough in foil and refrigerate.
  2. In the meantime, wash and clean the Brussels sprouts (if you have really large Brussels sprouts, you can cut them in half) and cook in salted water for about 5 minutes. Then drain the Brussels sprouts well.
  3. Then cut the ham into slices and mix with the Brussels sprouts.
  4. Tip: If you like, you can briefly toast the ham and Brussels sprouts in a pan with a little oil. But this is not absolutely necessary.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top / bottom heat (circulating air to 180 ° C). Grease a 26 cm springform pan and line it with the dough so that an approx. 3 - 4 cm high edge is created. Now distribute the ham and Brussels sprouts mixture on the dough.
  6. Finally, mix the eggs, cream cheese, cheese and herbs and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Spread the mixture over the Brussels sprouts and bake for about 30 minutes.
