Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 200 g suar

For covering:

  • 4 egg (s)
  • 100 g suar
  • 0.5 ½ cup oil, approx. 125 ml
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 kg ½ quark
  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder
  • 0.5 liter ½ milk

Instructions

  1. Dough:
  2. Make a shortcrust pastry from flour, sugar, 1 egg, baking powder and butter. Put in a greased (28 cm) springform pan and roll out with the edge.
  3. Covering:
  4. Mix the oil with the two vanilla sugars and the sugar until frothy, then stir in each of the four eggs individually, then stir in the vanilla pudding. Now stir in the quark and stir again. Finally add the milk and stir again. (This mass becomes very liquid)
  5. Bake in a preheated fan oven at 150 degrees for one hour.
  6. After baking, please let it cool for several hours, preferably overnight, so the cake will firm up.
