Chicken Meat Baked with Pumpkin

Chicken meat goes well with pumpkin. There is nothing superfluous in this dish, but if desired, it can be complicated by adding other vegetables or mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin – 450 g
  • Chicken fillet – 250 g
  • Butter – 20 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
  • Dried parsley – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

Directions

  1. Wash the pumpkin, peel it. Cut the pumpkin into small cubes.
  2. Wash the chicken fillet, dry with paper towels. Cut the fillet into slices.
  3. Place the pumpkin and chicken fillet in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add one pressed garlic clove, lemon juice, and honey. Stir and leave for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Put the pumpkin and chicken fillet and fry, stirring constantly, until the meat turns white.
  5. Then put everything in a baking dish and put the chicken and pumpkin in the oven, heated to 180 degrees, for 20-30 minutes.
  6. Mix the softened butter with a pressed garlic clove and dried parsley. You can use herbs to your liking, both dried and fresh.
  7. Put the finished chicken meat with a pumpkin on a plate, put aromatic butter on top. The butter will melt and add flavor to the dish.
