Ingredients

  • 1 glass cherry (s)
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 250 ml oil
  • 200 ml cherry juice, (from the drained cherries)
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 75 g cocoa powder
  • 200 ml cola or seltzer
  • 100 g couverture
  • 20 g coconut fat

Instructions

  1. Drain the cherries in the colander.
  2. Beat the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt for 3 minutes until thick and creamy. Allow the oil to flow in slowly and continue whipping. Stir in the cherry juice.
  3. Mix the flour with baking powder and cocoa and stir into the liquid; Stir in the cola or seltzer.
  4. Place half of the batter in a greased ring cake pan, then place most of the drained cherries on top, pour in the other half of the batter and place the rest of the cherries on top.
  5. Cover with couverture after cooling
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° for approx. 45 - 55 minutes (stick test).
