Chocolate Cupcakes with Cherries

According to this recipe, the dough for chocolate muffins is made with sour cream and cocoa powder. Chocolate muffins go well with canned cherries and butter cream.

Ingredients

  • Flour – 250 g
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Sugar – 200 g
  • Sour cream – 200 g
  • Butter – 100 g
  • Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Baking powder for dough – 1.5 teaspoon
  • Canned cherries – optional
  • Cream – for decoration

Directions

  1. Pour sugar, salt and eggs into the bowl. Beat a little with a mixer or whisk. Beat just a little, just so that the eggs combine with the sugar and foam a little.
  2. Now add sour cream and soft butter. We mix.
  3. Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder there. Mix again.
  4. You should get a thick dough.
  5. Put 1 tablespoon in each mold. spoon of dough. And I also added pitted canned cherries to the middle – 1-2 berries at the bottom and 1 berry on top. (Instead of cherries, you can take any canned or fresh berries or fruits. Or you can do without them.)
  6. We put muffins with cherries to bake, at 170-180 degrees it will take about 25-30 minutes. It all depends on the characteristics of your oven and the size of the molds. By the way, you can make one big cupcake.
  7. Let the cupcakes cool and you can eat.
  8. To garnish cherry muffins, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar, cocoa, or garnish with cream.
  9. Chocolate muffins with cherries are ready.
