Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 125 g suar
  • 125 g butter
  • 25 g cocoa powder
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 250 g flour

For covering:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g suar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 500 g quark (lean)
  • 15 g custard powder (vanilla)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 3 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Make a kneading dough from the ingredients for the dough. Roll out 2/3 of the total amount on the bottom of a springform pan (28 cm) lined with baking paper, put the rest of it aside for the crumble.
  2. For the topping, beat the butter, sugar and egg yolk until frothy. Then stir in the custard powder, vanilla sugar, quark and lemon juice. Beat egg whites into snow and fold in carefully. Spread the mixture on the dough.
  3. Pour the remaining batter, which has been set aside, over the top as a crumble.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C top / bottom heat for approx. 50 minutes.
  5. Tip: Double the amount of dough is the same as for a baking sheet.
