Ingredients

  • 2 cup milk
  • 150 ml coconut milk, (can)
  • 50 ml rum, good (possibly more)
  • 4 egg whites
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod (s)
  • some nutmeg, ground
  • 0.5 ½ pack vanilla sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, stir the egg yolks until they are thick and creamy (whisk). Step by step mix in the coconut milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, pulp of the vanilla pod and milk.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff (mixer) and then add.
  3. Now add the rum and either fill the egg flip into 5 large glasses or simply serve in the bowl (just like in America !!!). Finally sprinkle with the nutmeg.
  4. As an alternative to coconut milk, condensed milk can be used.
