Ingredients

  • 200 g butter
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 150 g powdered suar
  • 1 egg white
  • 200 g desiccated coconut
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g jam, approximate amount

Instructions

  1. For the dough, stir the butter with salt and powdered sugar until foamy, stir in the egg white. Add desiccated coconut and flour, stir in and gather the dough with your hands. Wrap in foil and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  2. Then shape them into small balls and place them on baking sheets lined with baking paper. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, carefully press small indentations into the balls (be careful not to tear them open!). Pour some jam into each of the hollows.
  3. In the oven preheated to 180 ° C top / bottom heat, slide one tray at a time into the oven for 10-12 minutes and bake the biscuits until golden. Let them cool down on wire racks, then leave them to soak in a biscuit tin for at least a day, then they will be nice and tender.
  4. Makes approx. 50 pieces - depending on the size.
