Ingredients

  • 1 cube yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 400 g flour
  • 100 g oat flakes, hearty
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons Provence herbs
  • 0.25 liter ¼ buttermilk
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • some margarine or butter for the pan

Instructions

  1. Crumble the yeast in a cup, stir with the sugar until liquid. Finely dice the onions and sauté in hot olive oil.
  2. Place the flour, oat flakes, salt, Provence herbs, buttermilk and cream cheese one after the other in a mixing bowl with the steamed onion cubes. Pour in the liquid, stirred yeast. Knead into a smooth dough with the dough hook of the hand mixer.
  3. Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Knead the dough again. Put in a greased loaf pan and bake for about 30 minutes.
